Drew this for mah beloved real-life friends Tess and Erin. They saw the How to Train Your Dragon pic I drew another friend and wanted a marker drawing too. So I gave them Dr. Horrible. Bwahahaha!

Prismacolor and copic markers, faber-pitt pens, and a gel pen on cardstock. Surprisingly, this took less time than the dragon marker piece. People are easier than dragons which have weird anatomy that still doesn't look right even after you do lots of picture-stalking research.

And yes, I know that his eyes are exaggeratedly large. That was purposeful. It isn't supposed to be perfect realism. Actually, it started out as a cartoon. I'm not really sure how or where it morphed into this, but it did. Somehow. *shrug*

Somebody told me the shading made him look drunk. He's not drunk, he's just on the verge of tears. Everything he ever wanted has just died in his arms, and he's finally achieved everything he thought he wanted. But now it's meaningless. It's the most utterly bittersweet moment I've seen on film. Ever. Thanks to Chel for exposing me to this awesome film.

This is probably the last thing you'll see from me for a while. I can't afford to keep doing this!! (And now so many people irl are asking for art! AAH!! Just say no, just say no...)
