I am dead (in terms of uploading art, that is). I'm still floating around DevArt answering questions and reading journals and checking new submissions, but I can't upload any comic art or anything. How disappointing.

Consider: I am a college freshman with 19 credit hours, a full marching band schedule until Thanksgiving (meaning I'm grounded in Manhattan, KS, for the next 8 weeks), no access to a scanner, and an important part-time career-related volunteer job in a nearby town. Fan comics are really not important in the long run, and I need to focus on school and other priorities. Like my future career. And other things. :3 On that note, I have some good stories. Excellent stories, in fact. But I'm saving them. You'll see eventually.

Thanks to all of you who urge me to update! It's heart-warming to know that so many of you care enough to check up on the comic! (And kind of sad when you consider that this is only a fan comic...sigh.) I wish I could give you a present. But instead, I'm going to disappoint you again by saying that whenever I do get around to uploading updates, TTB is going to revert to a monochromatic sketch-comic (okay, a little more polished than "sketchy," but you catch my meaning). I'm hoping that taking out the coloring variable will make updates more practical and keep this thing on its feet. At least the story will move, color or not. If at all possible, I will post some pages before Thanksgiving...because that's just way too much time to make you all wait. I think there's a scanner in the library, but as a frugal college student I can't afford to spend ample amounts of cash on comic scans!

In other news, the ducks are grown and beautiful. Sigh. Also, I am disgusted with my generation. I'm not certain whether I should puke, cry, or laugh--such is the overwhelming emotional anguish!! Sigh.
